How to Avoid Safety Hazards in Hot Weather
2025-05-14Safe Use of Electrical Equipment
Line Inspection and Maintenance:
During summer, electricity consumption increases, placing a heavier load on electrical circuits. Digital printing factories should regularly inspect electrical lines for issues such as aging, damage, or short circuits. Replace aging or damaged lines promptly, and investigate and repair any circuits at risk of short circuits.
Proper Use of Electrical Equipment:
Unauthorized temporary wiring is strictly prohibited to prevent fires caused by circuit overloads. Each electrical device should be equipped with an appropriate power outlet and cable matching its rated power. Avoid using devices with excessive power ratings.
Avoiding Fire Safety Hazards
Based on the factory's area, layout, and fire risk levels of different zones, configure fire extinguishers and hydrants appropriately. Increase the number and specifications of fire extinguishers in areas with dense equipment or flammable materials. Regularly conduct water discharge tests for hydrants and perform annual pressure checks and agent replacements for fire extinguishers to ensure they are always operational.
Ensure emergency lighting is sufficiently bright and evacuation signs are clear and prominently placed in compliance with fire safety regulations. Regularly inspect emergency lighting and evacuation signs to guarantee they function properly during a fire, guiding employees to evacuate quickly.
Material Storage
Standardized Raw Material Storage:
Store flammable raw materials such as ink and paper in dedicated warehouses with fireproof partitions. Maintain good ventilation and avoid direct sunlight. Strictly control inventory levels, purchasing materials according to production plans to minimize excess stock.
Timely Disposal of Production Waste:
Waste generated during production, such as discarded printed paper or ink-stained rags, is highly flammable. Establish a waste disposal system specifying cleaning frequencies and assign dedicated personnel to collect and transport waste to designated safe storage areas for regular disposal.
